Lucky's Girl  secret grafic

I've been totally neglecting this blog lately for many reasons. Summer fun, my grandfather's illness, and the fact that I've been uninspired and have only shot about 5 frames since mid may are only some of my excuses.

This photo is from Big Cypress National Preserve. We were getting desperate looking for a place to camp or even a place for a decent toilet when this wonderful beacon of hope presented itself before me. I was driving down a dirt road and slammed the brakes. Corrie asked frantically "what? what's wrong?". I thrust into reverse and there it is.... a patio with flashing beer signs! Lucky's.

Turns out Lucky has a beautiful property and keeps plenty of cold refreshments he and his wife are willing to share (with suggested donations of course). We stuck around and ended up talking for hours. Incredibly charming and hospitable couple. Lucky also has an interesting home business as well based on exotic natural photography. Be sure to check it out at http://naturesexoticbeauty.com/

Thanks so much Lucky and Maureen for the great time and hospitality. It was a highlight of out trip that we will always remember and truly cherish.

I like the stars and the muted colours.

Nice long time exposure. the green light in the centre makes it rather ghostly.

Who says kids need all kinds of technological things or the latest toys to have fun? Raymo and Ron had a blast with an empty box. I love this picture.

Dave; I try to set up outbound links to open in new windows (even though that breaks usability standards) so no need to right click. Besides that it's actually meant to be annoying :p
Thanks for stopping by.

Stop putting little Ron pictures up. I can't handle it. I think I may have to leave work now.
